Precinct organizing

The key to grassroots organizing is getting voters to the polls. The most powerful way to do it is to ask voters to vote for a candidate we support.

We're building a vote-getting machine by signing up one or two volunteers in each precinct to contact their neighbors before elections and ask them to vote for a Progressive candidate.

We're supporting that effort with a database that identifies likely Progressive voters. That tool will allow our organizers to call on people friendly to our cause and who are likely to support our candidates.

With a database that identifies likely Progressive voters and an organization that can turn out the vote, our Progressive voice will be heard!

But we're not stopping in Davidson County. DFT plans to organize key counties around the state and turn Tennessee from red to blue.

But we'll need lots of people. Around election time, volunteers will be busy, but once the election is over, so is the work.
