Knox County government Special interest politics is at work in Knox County where the courts have ruled that closed door appointments are against the law. The board also rejected efforts at reform, forcing voters to mount a referendum campaign to put government back in the hands of the people. Amy Broyles is running in District 2 to join fellow Progessive and DFT member Mark Harmon on the county board.
